Installing MelonLoader is straightforward and allows you to easily mod Unity games. Follow these steps to get started:
Click the download button above to get the latest version of MelonLoader.
Launch MelonLoader.Installer.exe.
Click the “SELECT” button and navigate to your game's installation folder. Select the game’s .exe
file.
Select the version of MelonLoader you want to install from the dropdown menu (or leave it set to the latest version).
Click the “INSTALL” button, and MelonLoader will be automatically installed.
If you prefer manual installation, follow these steps:
MelonLoader.x64.zip.MelonLoader.x86.zip.Extract the MelonLoader folder from the downloaded zip into the game’s installation folder.
Move version.dll from the zip file into the game’s installation folder.
Use protontricks to set up a clean prefix for your game and configure it to use Windows 10.
Run protontricks [appid] dotnetdesktop6 to install the necessary .NET runtime.
Follow the manual installation steps or run the automated installer through Wine.
